Come meet folx from SURJ Baltimore's Interim Leadership Team to find out more about our local chapter, including the mission and values of the national organization and the roles white folks can take in racial justice. Learn about our external accountability partners (people of color led groups in Baltimore). We will get to know each other, do a learning activity, and even sing a song cuz this is a music fest! People of color are welcome to attend and participate in the the workshop as well, although content will be geared towards people interested in engaging white white folx in dismantling white supremacy and working towards racial equity.

SURJ is a national network of groups and individuals organizing white people for racial justice. Through community organizing, mobilizing, and education, SURJ moves white people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for justice with passion and accountability. We work to connect people across the country while supporting and collaborating with local and national racial justice organizing efforts. SURJ provides a space to build relationships, skills and political analysis to act for change.
