Landscape No. 1921 Expulsion
Through painting and sculpture, Phaan Howng's work stages the sublime and formidable beauty of an Earth post-humanity. One can view Howng's work as conjectures that initiate a dialogue about the current crises of world ecology and of the Anthropocene epoch. For Fields Fest she will create an installation featuring her post-apocalyptic sculptures interrupting the festival landscape, allowing the present to interact with the Earth's potential future environment.
